Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Dental and oral health care encompasses a wide spectrum of clinical, surgical, and interdisciplinary approaches that address both functional and aesthetic issues faced by patients. Coupled with the continuous progress in surgical techniques, biomaterials, and translational research, advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery plays a pivotal role in bridging dentistry and medical sciences.

This Special Issue aims to explore cutting-edge developments and innovative approaches in dental surgery, oral rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary treatments. Key topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Novel surgical techniques for maxillofacial reconstruction and rehabilitation;
• Advancements in implantology, bone grafting, and tissue engineering;
• Advancements in endodontics and endodontic surgery;
• Integration of regenerative medicine in oral and periodontal surgery;
• Management of complex oral pathologies and craniofacial deformities;
• Application of digital technologies, including guided surgery and 3D printing, in oral surgical procedures;
• Innovations in minimally invasive surgical interventions.

For this Special Issue, we invite researchers and clinicians to contribute original research articles, reviews, and case studies that highlight the integration of surgical principles into modern dentistry. This Special Issue seeks to foster a collaborative platform that bridges the gap between dental and surgical sciences, advancing patient care and clinical outcomes.

We look forward to your valuable contributions.
