Abstract

A case of thyroid paraganglioma is reported. Immunohistochemically the tumor showed negativity for thyroglobulin and calcitonin and positivity for chromogranin A and S-100. Protein positive sustentacular cells were demonstrated.


The authors discuss the previous literature on these tumors.
