Abstract

Crohn’s Disease (CD) is a chronic intestinal inflammatory disease of unknown origins that cannot be definitely resolved with surgical intervention. Therefore, pharmacologic therapies are of great importance both in preventing relapses and by determining remissions. In this paper the autors analyse the different drugs available for the treatment of Crohn’s disease, and focus on their efficacy and tollerability.
